You’re the kind of writer who can barely remember a time when you haven’t been writing.
You fell in love with creating art through language, and this deep desire has never left you. You love books and tales, poems and essays. You love to learn, process, share, connect and create through the written word.
Writing has always been there for you – except lately.
You used to write so much when you were a kid, everything just flowed. Now it’s slowed down, maybe even to a halt. You haven’t written in months, years. Or maybe you are still writing, but it’s just not the same.
Something is off. Something isn’t clicking.
Your literary projects aren’t taking flight. There’s no spark anymore and you are worn out from trying quick fixes and writing prompts that don’t move you forward.
You want a deeper approach. A long-term solution. You want to take your writing to the next level, but aren’t sure how.
Even though you are dedicated and committed to advancing your writing, the way forward still seems so elusive…
Hi, I’m Emma Května – a writing coach with a wellness approach. My goal is to propel you forward in your creative relationship with the written word.
No matter what you desire with your writing, all things can be achieved when the 5 Writing Elements are balanced: thoughts, emotions, behaviours, spirituality, and knowledge of the craft.
These elements form an ecosystem within which your writing either thrives or dies. A dying ecosystem can always be saved, just as a thriving ecosystem can always be expanded further.
But it’s a difficult task to tackle when you are so close to the issues at hand.
That’s where I come in as your holistic writing coach. I work with writers who aren’t writing in the way they desire.
These writers are committed to getting to the root of the problem, whether it’s a specific literary project that is difficult to complete or a writing identity crisis resulting in little to no written work.
I can teach you how to understand your ecosystem, how to give it what it needs and figure out what it wants, overcoming internal obstacles and fears along the way. I can help you complete new writing projects or give life to old ones. I can guide you towards a sense of fulfillment with your work, whether that’s in the form of publication or simply connecting to your creativity on a deeper level.
My promise to you is that where there’s a will, there’s a way. And if you are here, then you have the will! Let me show you the way.

“Emma was tasked with helping me with first draft edits. For several years I have been writing a memoir/creative nonfiction book and the structure was a mess. She took her time to read everything, and prepare fantastic notes and thoughtful critiques. Her comments were constructive as I find myself diving into the next draft. I would recommend her for anyone in the messy middle of editing or writing. She is a valuable resource and isn’t afraid of any project.”
“Emma’s creativity coaching was instrumental in helping me get back on track in m y writing life. She showed up to each session with concrete ideas and exercises to spark creativity. Emma is very knowledgeable about many aspects of the craft and our conversations helped to inspire me and give me direction. I highly recommend her coaching sessions to anyone looking for a push!”
“I couldn’t have made a better decision than working with Emma. I had lost my love for reading and creating poetry, focusing too much on results and not enough on process. And I had just started writing short stories but found myself immediately cowed when I tried to write longer works of fiction. Emma is patient, kind, intuitive, an incredible listener, and deeply committed to her clients. But it’s not only her personality that set me straight. Her grasp of craft is sure and strong and I was so thrilled to have her insight into character and plot.”
